Description of assignment: Ever wanted a chance to give back to your community? Tend is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit ready to make community involvement one of our main goals. We need more hands on deck to make that happen.
Timeframe: Three Year Commitment
Job Title: Nurse/Healthcare Worker to Join our Wellness Committee
Description of assignment: Behind-the-scenes help is essential during this growth process. We would love to expand our wellness committee to include the perspective, knowledge, and experience of health care workers.
Timeframe: Two Year Commitment
Job Title: Grant Writer
Description of assignment: We are seeking someone to volunteer their time to help Tend prepare grant applications. If you are a student or writing expert, this would be a perfect position for you!
Timeframe: Flexible
Job Title: Care Package Assembler
Description of assignment: Help stock our curated care packages. Our care packages are packed with love and intention. If you want to help be a part of this sacred experience, we would love to include you.
Timeframe: Flexible
Job Title: Farmer’s Markets Tables
Description of assignment: Help set-up, run, and breakdown a table at a farmer’s market. Learn and then teach others about the care packages, hand out free samples, and collect email addresses and donations.
Timeframe: Sundays 10-4PM and Tuesdays 2-7PM, September through October.
Job Title: Social Media and Marketing Content Creation
Description of assignment: Are you a graphic designer student or someone looking to give back? Let’s work together at creating content for our social media accounts, newsletters, and marketing materials.
Timeframe: Flexible

Partnership Opportunities
What We Are Looking for in a Partner:
Tend is based on partnerships with local growers and artisans of all kinds. We are currently interested in creating new partnerships and supplying our care package recipients with goods that will help them through their tough time in healing and holistic ways. We are looking for partners who will help fill our baskets with elevated and exciting gifts.
The care packages contain locally-made goodies intended to lift spirits and/or address side-effects as someone begins to face their cancer treatments. I am looking to order in bulk from partners located in New England. Examples of items include: essential oil rollers, luxurious bath salts, sensitive skin face masks, and all-natural soaps.

Event Co-Host Opportunities
Co-Host an Event with Tend to You:
Here at Tend, we are offering more than just a care package. We also host a variety of in-person and virtual events.
On the last Tuesday of every month, Tend extends ourselves to the community and offers either a virtual or live event. The theme of these events is to "tend to yourself", whether it be physically, emotionally, or mentally. The goals of these events are to highlight our partners, generate exposure, and fundraise. Event hosts are compensated after the event!
Examples of events we have hosted in the past can be found on our event calendar. They include yoga classes, cooking classes, organization tips, introduction to reiki, and live music. Anything that helps bring the community together is welcomed.
We compensate our co-hosts! More details in the application.
